At Fjordland Tours AS, we understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to our guests while allowing us to operate our tours efficiently and sustainably. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email before the relevant deadline.
1.1 Single Day Tours
The following refund terms apply to all single-day tours:

1.2 Multi-Day Tours (2 to 4 Days)
The following refund terms apply to all tours of two to four days in duration:

1.3 Extended Tours (5 Days and Above) and Custom Tours
For tours of five or more days, and for all custom and privately arranged tours, the following terms apply:
- The deposit paid at the time of booking may be non-refundable, as specified in the booking confirmation
- Final payment terms are confirmed in writing at the time of booking
- Third-party costs incurred on the guest’s behalf — including hotel accommodation, ferry or boat tickets, funicular tickets, and external transport — may be non-refundable once confirmed
- Guests are advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any non-refundable costs
1.4 Cancellation by Fjordland Tours AS
In the event that Fjordland Tours AS cancels or significantly modifies a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, insufficient participation, or operational requirements, guests will be offered one of the following:
- A full refund of all amounts paid
- A credit note to the full value of the booking, valid for 12 months
- Rescheduling to an alternative available date at no additional cost
Fjordland Tours AS is not liable for any indirect or consequential costs incurred by the guest as a result of a cancellation, including but not limited to flights, independent accommodation, car hire, or other personal travel expenses. Guests are strongly advised to hold comprehensive travel insurance.
